Music Ministry
We believe that church should be exciting, meaningful, relevant, and life-giving. The music in our worship services is blended, which means we sing traditional hymns and praise choruses. Both hymns and praise choruses are led by a praise team. Our church choir is always looking for more voices and they usually perform monthly and for our special services.
Life Groups
Life Groups are the small group ministries of our church providing an excellent opportunity for you to get connected, to build fellowship and community, and to grow.

Children’s Ministry
The mission of the children’s ministry (ages 4 to the 6th grade) is to help children know Christ, to become more Christ-like, and to have a better understanding of the Scriptures through creative hands-on activities.
Children’s Church is held each Sunday during the Sunday worship service. After the children’s sermon during the worship service, the children are led to Children’s Church in the classrooms. The children rejoin their parents in the sanctuary for communion time.
Nursery (birth - 3 yrs old)
Spirit of the Cross provides a nursery during Sunday morning worship. Upon arrival, please check-in your nursery age child at our nursery located in the classrooms adjacent to the fellowship hall. Our greeters will be glad to direct you to the nursery location.
The nursery is in operation from pre-worship time until communion time each Sunday morning. The nursery is not provided for other events, special worship services or Wednesday Night Bible Study.
Missons
Spirit of the Cross, as a member congregation of the United Church of Christ, supports Global Ministries. Global Ministries is a joint witness in mission between the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ that shares the Good News of Jesus Christ by joining with global and local partners to work for justice, reconciliation and peace.
