Welcome to Spirit of the Cross Church (formerly MCC Huntsville)!

What a joy it is to introduce you to our church. You will discover our passion to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience. We hope you will discover the difference at Spirit of the Cross Church.

Some will find the refreshing balance they’ve been looking for in the whole church thing…and some will just find a home where experiencing God will become an exciting reality.

We are a church for everyone with a primary outreach to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community. We are a Christ-centered congregation. We believe that Jesus taught us to live and walk in love for God, all other people, and ourselves. We are a place where you can worship without fear or shame, make friends, and learn about the affirming love of Christ.

You will find Spirit of the Cross to be a unique place, one that is filled with diversity in worship and people. Most importantly, we hope you will notice first the life-giving nature of our ministry. Our goal is to infuse life and God’s love in people through engaging, powerful, and relevant worship services and by having supportive ministries that make a difference.
