Welcome to a church where God's love for you is unending, unconditional, and undoubtable.

First Time Visitor?
If you are planning to visit Spirit of the Cross Church for the first time, here is some information you might find helpful.

Where is the church?
Spirit of the Cross is located at 3015 Sparkman Drive (near the corner of Pulaski Pike and Sparkman Drive) in Huntsville. We are beside the Bessie K. Russell Branch Library.

Do I have to be gay to attend?
No. Our church does have a primary ministry to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community but ALL people are welcome. Attendance or membership at Spirit of the Cross is not indicative of one’s sexual orientation.

What do I need to wear?
Dress comfortably. While some people dress up, most wear casual and comfortable clothing on Sunday mornings. Sunday night and the Wednesday night Bible study are always casual. Don’t worry about what you wear, just come and experience the difference.

What time are the services?
We worship on Sundays at 11a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The morning worship service is the most attended service. Sunday nights feature praise and worship music and are more informal. The Wednesday night Bible study begins at 6:45 p.m.

Where do I park?
The church has a gravel parking lot at the 3015 Sparkman Drive entry. Next door there is a large paved parking lot beside the library and the old Naval Academy building.

What our first-time
guests are saying

“A great church! Great praise and worship and friendly congregation. I will be back.  I like how accepting and loving the church is.  It's the first time my gay brother has felt accepted for who he really is in church.”
